Dissolve

A dissolve treatment is a procedure used to remove or reduce hyaluronic acid dermal fillers by injecting an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This enzyme breaks down the filler so the body can naturally absorb it. It is commonly done when filler results are uneven, overfilled, migrated, or not desired, or if there are lumps or complications. The dissolving process usually begins within a few hours, with most results visible within 24–48 hours. Dissolve treatments only work on hyaluronic acid fillers (such as Juvederm or Restylane) and do not work on fillers like Sculptra or Radiesse.
